Winemaking Concept

Martino has a new world winemaking concept with a European imprint. They rely on European production processes, especially Italian and Spanish. For this reason, they also consider that the best international wine advisor is Attilio Pagli, because he can help us create wines with the profile that they like.

Winemaking Team

Attilio Pagli: He is one of the most recognized and prestigious Italian winemakers in the world who has been advising Martino Wines since 2013.
He is a specialist in autochthonous varieties in his country such as Sangiovese and a forerunner of Argentine Malbec. Despite having received more than five times 100 points with Robert Parkers, he believes the Terroir’s personality is what inspires his dedication to oenology.

Sergio Montiel: He is the chief winemaker at Martino Wines. In 2012 he obtained a Great Gold Medal with Ca ‘de Vino and one of the participating oenologists of the multi-award-winning American documentary The Rise of Argentine Malbec. Among his favorite varieties, the production of Cabernet Franc stands out.

Good to know

Restaurant

Martino has started a brand new restaurant in 2019 It is brand new. They really like gastronomy and wanted to have a space where they could share what they did together with very good gastronomy. It is a relaxed space, as if you would go to the living room of their house. There are two armchairs in front of a hearth, communal and individual tables. There is a menu of 4 or 7 steps paired with their wines. The idea is to generate a 100% Martino experience, it goes a lot with their imprint on the place, which is related to enjoyment.
